2024 APEX AWARDS
On the 14th of November, 2024, the esteemed Methacton Education Foundation hosted the APEX Awards at the Jeffersonville Golf Club. This occasion commemorated the achievements of extraordinary Methacton alumni, esteemed educators, and dedicated community members who have ascended to remarkable heights in their respective domains and significantly contributed to the Methacton community.
Graciously emceed by the accomplished Methacton alumna and esteemed media personality, Cyndy Drue, the evening showcased awe-inspiring role models for the current Methacton students. Honored at the ceremony were:
- Alumni: Chris Drummond (Class of 1986), distinguished President of Penny's by Plaza Flowers.
- Community Advocate: Fran Held, the visionary founder of Mitzvah Circle.
- Educator: Matt Alzamora, exceptional Methacton High School instructor and coach.
- Educator: Lou Ann Milke, revered retired Methacton Elementary School educator.
- Legacy: Karen Pflug-felder (Class of 1967), revered retired Methacton educator and coach.
