Apex Nominations 2025

Do you know a significant Methacton educator, staff, alumnus, or community member who deserves recognition for their accomplishments?

The Methacton Education Foundation Education Foundation seeks to recognize our most outstanding teachers, alumni, and community members. The Apex Award will be a permanent mark of distinction for those who made extraordinary impacts on the school district community, and we need your help to select our 2025 class of inductees.

The Foundation is currently accepting nominations from the public for the 2025 inductees. You can find complete information here. We will recognize the top educators, alumni, and key community members. Think about the people in your life whose lifetime of contributions or accomplishments make them APEX AWARD material, and take a few moments to tell us about them!

ALUMNI

All alumni or alumni groups that have distinguished themselves by making significant contributions to their profession, community, or society.

COMMUNITY ADVOCATES

Any person, business, or organization that has impacted the Methacton community and made significant contributions to the community or society.

EDUCATORS

Students, parents, community members can nominate and faculty for Apex Educator of the Year. It can be a teacher or staff at any level. The committee will review all nominees and select finalists for each group. The semi-finalists for educators will be selected and will interview and have the following question prepared:
Tell us about your educational background, including what drew you to the field and what maintains your interest in education.
In our school district, we talk about the importance of communication, collaboration, critical thinking, and creativity. Share how you apply those concepts in your teaching on a day-to-day basis OR through a specific lesson.
When you look around the school and watch your fellow teachers/educators, I’m sure you’ve mentally noted what makes a teacher outstanding. What are some of those traits?
Every day you have children come to your class with many different learning styles and abilities. How do you make sure all students learn?
What is the most important issue that you, as an educator, see on a local, state, or national level?

How Award Nominations Work

We rely on your nominations to identify outstanding individuals who deserve recognition for their contributions to the Methacton community! Here's a breakdown of the selection process:

Nominations & Review:

  • All nominations are carefully reviewed by a committee comprised of Methacton Education Foundation board members, alumni, school administration representatives, and community members.
  • Nominations play a vital role in helping the committee choose the most deserving honorees.
  • The frequency of nominations for a particular individual is not considered. We encourage you to submit a nomination if you believe someone truly deserves recognition.

Selection & Availability:

  • Award recipients are ultimately chosen by the committee.
  • Honoree availability is also considered during the selection process.
  • Individuals currently seeking or holding political office are not eligible for nomination.

Ready to Nominate? We encourage you to submit nominations for those who make a difference in Methacton!

All submissions are final and cannot be changed. Questions? Email info@methactonfoundation.org
